Honeybaked vs. Chicago Mission
Perrault often seems to find himself on odd-man rushes thanks to his assertive positioning and great awareness in the defensive zone. On a play similar to one in the previous game, Perrault’s saucer pass was very high for his target. After a recent case of this was highlighted in the previous game, it would've been nice to see him make an improvement to this sort of play in this game. On another odd-man rush, Perrault showed excellent balance and physicality in an attempt to get around the last defenseman while keeping his feet moving, unfortunately he didn't quite get far enough around the last defender, and although he did get the pass off it was just ahead of his partner. In transition, he shows a great ability to manipulate his speed, using his edges to cut laterally, and make intricate movements with the puck to keep his possession safe.

Chicago Mission vs. North Jersey Avalanche
Throughout the game, Perrault reinforced many of the same strengths that have earned him our continual praise since the beginning of the tournament. He demonstrated excellent reactivity and quickness that enable him to interact with any and all pucks in his vicinity. In addition, his ability to control the pucks that he makes contact with is consistently reliable. On Chicago’s second goal of the game, he showed great awareness, discipline and technical ability when he received a pass from the corner and casually one-touch bumped it over to Carter Slaggert, who buried it on the backdoor. Upon review, it simply seems that Perrault’s ability to process the game at such a high speed is what allows him to regularly make these simple, yet brilliant plays look so easy. Further, he actually had the third assist on this goal which was a very hard and accurate pass through the neutral zone onto the tape of his streaking teammate. Making this pass to a burning target showed an excellent technical ability and was what enabled Mission to gain the zone with ease, and ahead of the Avalanche backcheckers. He showed very good individual puck handling ability on multiple occasions, making large displacement blade maneuvers to evade his attacker, opening up room for him to get the puck into the middle of the ice. On one particular occasion this enabled him to chip a saucer pass to a streaking Joseph Willis who batted it down and juked out the goalie for another Mission tally.
