Game Information
Shattuck St. Mary's vs Chicago Mission
Cameron Aucoin manned the second line for the Mission in this one and was a strong power forward presence throughout the game. Aucoin used his long and powerful stride to attack the net like a man possessed, charging the crease and leaning into his opponents off the rush he carved his way to the net and got a few quality scoring chances as a result. If he was tasked with going up against a larger, stronger, defender, Aucoin would use his soft hands to get the defender moving laterally in an effort to catch them flat-footed, in which he would resume his mission to get to the crease. Overall Aucoin’s relentlessness and desire to be around the crease helped him create chances and generated one of his team’s two goals as he got an assist off a rebound from a shot he took a foot away from the crease.
